Priyanka Chopra Is On An Inspirational Ride: 'MasterChef Australia' Judge Matt Preston

Darpan News Desk IANS, 04 Dec, 2017 12:15 PM
"MasterChef Australia" judge Matt Preston admires Indian actress Priyanka Chopra for her stand against US President Donald Trumps "migration restrictions", and says she is on an "inspirational ride".

Preston also called "The Dirty Picture" star Vidya Balan an "intelligent and thoroughly entertaining woman".

Asked to list the names of people he would like to cook for and dine with, Preston said in a statement: "I love to cook for anyone who likes to eat.

"As regards dining partners, Adam Gilchrist is a prince amongst men and great fun. I was very jealous that 'the little master' (Sachin Tendulkar) was at one of George Calombaris dinner's in India, so let's add him to the mix along with the inspirational Sunitha Krishnan and Chennai's own Indra Nooyi both of whom I have only read about but who seem incredible women."

Preston also said that it has been "way too long" since he has "broken bread with the incomparable Vidya Balan".

"She is a smart, intelligent and thoroughly entertaining woman," he said.

"Let's also add Gaggan Anand and Priyanka Chopra to the party. Her stand against Trump's migration restrictions was impressive and again she is on an inspirational ride," he added.

Reacting to Trump's immigration ban back in February, Priyanka, also Unicef's global Goodwill Ambassador, described the ban as a "political witchhunt".

"MasterChef Australia" is aired in India on Star World and Star World HD.
