Priyanka Chopra Has An Update For Quantico Fans. Is The Show Getting Cancelled?

Darpan News Desk IANS, 16 Mar, 2017 12:24 PM
  • Priyanka Chopra Has An Update For Quantico Fans. Is The Show Getting Cancelled?
Priyanka, who essays the role of FBI agent Alex Parrish in the series, on Thursday tweeted: "Last two episodes before we finish shooting for the rest of 'Quantico' season 2! So many mixed emotions... It's been a long haul."

The show enjoyed a massive following in its first season and cemented PeeCee’s place in Hollywood.

Recently, the star visited The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote Quantico and played Holi with the host, Jimmy Fallon.

Recently, there have been rumours that show’s dwindling audience could lead to a cancellation. The website The Cancel Bar predicted: “In its fall run on Sundays, Quantico averaged a 0.76 rating in adults 18-49 with a lead-in (Secrets and Lies) that drew just about the same ratings.

In its first two Monday episodes, with a Bachelor lead-in almost three times as large as that of Secrets and Lies, Quantico has averaged 0.75. Quantico probably won’t move much higher than its current ratings this season. It is what it is at this point, and that’s a show ABC should cut ties with at season’s end.”

On a related note, Priyanka Chopra will be making her Hollywood movie debut with Seth Gordon’s Baywatch reboot, alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

The 34-year-old actress will also be seen in the Hollywood film "Baywatch", in which she has a negative role as Victoria Leeds.

The film, which stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron among many others, is adapted from the popular 1990s' TV series of the same name, which featured actress Pamela Anderson in a key role.
