Preparation plays key role for Farhan

Darpan News Desk IANS, 02 Oct, 2015 12:13 PM
  • Preparation plays key role for Farhan
Farhan Akhtar excels at different talents, but he is a strong believer in preparing well for whatever he does.

The actor-filmmaker-singer will soon be seen as a host of reality show "I Can Do That", and he says for every person to say that phrase, certain preparation is a must.

At an event here, he said: "Since childhood, I have had a keen interest in films and music. It was a matter of time to get prepared. Preparation plays a significant role in life. Even in 'I Can Do That’, these contestants get a week to prepare for their acts, so that one week is very crucial.

“Before starting film direction, I had worked as an assistant and a copy writer for three and half years. So that was something that I felt I could naturally do. I was asked by many, 'Why don’t you act in films?' But before ‘Rock On!!’, I didn’t feel the need to do so as I was not prepared from within.

"You need to be prepared for what all you wish to do in life.”

"I Can Do That" will go on air on Zee TV later this month.
