'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' Named Worst Film At Ghanta Awards

  • 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' Named Worst Film At Ghanta Awards
Salman Khan starrer "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" was picked as the 'Worst Film' and Shah Rukh Khan was named for the 'Worst Actor' award for his film "Dilwale", at the recently held 6th annual Ghanta Awards 2016 here.
 
Vikas Bahl won the 'Worst Director' award for his film "Shaandaar" and Sonam Kapoor was named 'Worst Actress' for "Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo"/"Dolly Ki Doli" at the event held here on Sunday, read a statement. 
 
Gagan Takyar, managing director of INvision Entertainment Pvt Ltd, told IANS: "We at the Ghanta Awards are overwhelmed with the response we have received. It's just amazing to have undying support of our patrons. I would really like to thank everyone who came, cheered us and make us a humongous success". 
 
The audience got to vote 14 categories representing the worst of Bollywood. Online voting went on till the eve of the awards gala. 
 
This year's Ghanta Awards saw celebrities including Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak, Arshad Warsi, Maria Goretti, Manish Paul, Archana Puran Singh, Parmeet Sethi, Shruti Seth, Karan Ashuman, Gizele Thakral, Rituraj, Darshan Raval, Ashish R Mohan, Sharib Hashmi, Sachin Gupta among others.
