Actress-producer Preity Zinta, who returned to India from the US Sunday, declined to speak to the media and appealed to them to not seek any comment from her or her staff and friends on the case she has filed against her ex-boyfriend Ness Wadia.
"Exhausted but happy to finally be back home in Mumbai. I'd like to apologize to the media but it will not be possible for me to make any comments or statements as this investigation is still on.
"Pls co operate & PLEASE don't call my staff or friends non stop as they have requested me to make this appeal to you all on their behalf. Thank you," she tweeted and posted on her Facebook page.
Preity did not speak to the media persons who were waiting for her at Mumbai airport.
The actress left for the US soon after filing a complaint against Wadia of using foul language towards her during an IPL match at Wankhede stadium and also accusing him of harassing and abusing her.
Police had called her to return as her statement needs to be recorded on the FIR against Wadia filed June 13 at the Marine Drive police station here.
If watching actor-producer Akshay Kumar getting slapped by a monkey in a sequence in "Housefull" was hilarious, the action stars fans will now see a backup dancer leaving her hand's print on his cheek in "Holiday".
Comedian Krushna Abhishek, who has dominated the small screen with his comic timing in "Comedy Circus", says he will certainly come up with a show a la Kapil Sharma's "Comedy Nights With Kapil".
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will return to the host's chair of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC) soon. But his small screen journey doesn't conclude here. He will also be seen in his first fiction TV show - "Yudh".
Language turned out to be a bit of an issue on the set of forthcoming Bollywood film "Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty" as it had a mix of Hindi and Tamil-speaking crew. But the film's lead actors Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha say it was all in good fun!
Actress Parineeti Chopra was recently reported to have said in an interview to a magazine that she is not working with the Bollywood Khans - Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir - because she would have nothing to do in the film.
