Prayer meet for Aadesh Shrivastava at ISKCON temple

    A prayer meet for late Bollywood music composer and singer Aadesh Shrivastava will be held at ISKCON temple in Juhu here on Tuesday.
     
    Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is known to have had a close association with Shrivastava, tweeted the details.
     
    "'Chautha' for Aadesh Shrivastava at ISKCON, Juhu, tomorrow 8th Sept from 4-6 pm," Big B tweeted on Monday night. 
     
    Shrivastava, who composed songs for films like "Chalte Chalte", "Baghban" and "Raajneeti", was battling cancer for the last five years and passed away here on Saturday.
     
    His last rites were held at the Oshiwara Crematorium here on Saturday afternoon. 
     
    Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik, Pandit Jasraj, Udit Narayan, Javed Ali, Kunal Ganjawala, Ismail Darbar, Shekhar Kapur and Anees Bazmee were present at the funeral.
     
    He is survived by his wife Vijayata Pandit and two sons - Anivesh and Avitesh.
