'PK' to release in Japan

  • 'PK' to release in Japan
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's blockbuster film “PK”, which went on to become the highest grossing film of India upon its release in December 2014, is all set to hit theatres in Japan.
 
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, “PK” will be released in Japan in October, read a statement.
 
The film will be released by Vinod Chopra Films, Rajkumar Hirani Films and UTV Motion Pictures in association with Japanese entertainment company Nikkatsu Corporation.
 
“PK”, which also featured Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput, collected over Rs 700 crore upon its release in India and various international territories like China, North America, Gulf, Britain and Australia.
 
The film made a gross collection of Rs 472 crore in the domestic market, and Rs 306.8 crore from the overseas market.
