PICS: Deepika Padukone's Wax Figure To Join Madame Tussauds In London, Delhi

Actress Deepika Padukone will be joining the worlds biggest superstars at Madame Tussauds with wax figures in London and Delhi.
The first figure will launch in London early 2019, while the Delhi figure will follow a few months later to draw more attention to tourists and fans of the actress, a statement said.
Deepika, daughter of sports personality Prakash Padukone, made her Bollywood foray with "Om Shanti Om", beginning a journey that has seen her experience a whole lot of success. Known for her savvy style and versatility seen via films as diverse as "Piku" and "Padmaavat", Deepika has also done a Hollywood film "xXx: Return of Xander Cage".
The team of Madame Tussauds expert artists met Deepika in London for the all-important sitting for her figures, where they took over 200 specific measurements, as well as photographs to create an authentic likeness.
"The sitting with the team of experts was a special experience and I look forward to the incredible figure at the attraction," the actress said in a statement.

Actress Diana Penty, who launched Gigi Hadid's make-up collection in India, has praised the model, saying her achievements and journey is an inspiration for many.
Staying the "notifications and orders" banning the release of the controversial film by the three states, Chief Justice Dipak Misra, Justice A.M. Khanwilklar and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud said the remaining states will not ban the screening of the film.
Actress Sonam Kapoor, who plays a pivotal role in the Akshay Kumar starrer "Pad Man", says if the character is substantial, she does not mind playing a small yet important role in a movie.
Abhishek Kapoor successfully launched Farhan Akhtar and Sushant Singh Rajput as film actors. The director, whose next movie "Kedarnath" will mark Sara Ali Khan's debut, says he chases his characters instead of actors.
Aamir Khan's movie "Secret Superstar" will release in China on Friday and is expected to make waves in the country where his "Dangal" raked in $190 million, the highest earning by any Indian film abroad.
