People Are Bored Of Watching Drama: Prince Narula

Darpan News Desk IANS, 21 Oct, 2016 12:00 PM
  • People Are Bored Of Watching Drama: Prince Narula
Reality TV star Prince Narula, who is currently seen as a wrestler in TV show "Badho Bahu", says people are bored of watching regular drama shows on the small screen.

"The story of 'Badho Bahu' is drastically different from what we watch normally on TV today. People are bored of watching drama. Also I am getting to play a wrestler," Prince told IANS.

In "Badho Bahu", Prince's character has been paired opposite newcomer Rytasha Rathore, who plays an over-sized girl.

Talking about this unusual pairing, Prince said: "Body weight doesn't matter. And I wish the youth would stop body shaming as weight can always be reduced. What matters is good talent, acting skills. And Rytasha is a good actor."

After winning reality shows like "MTV Roadies X2", "MTV Splitsvilla 8" and "Bigg Boss 9", and making his fiction debut on TV, Prince is next eying Bollywood.

When asked about his debut on the silver screen, Prince said: "Very soon. I get Punjabi film offers as well. But I will wait for a good script, it doesn't matter if it's a Rs 100 crore or Rs 10 crore film, what matters most is the script for me. If I get a good film I will do.

"Badho Bahu", a 260-episode show aired on &TV, also features Pankaj Dheer, Jaya Ojha, Arhaan Khan and Sangeeta Panwar.
