Paul Feig's Wife Laurie Praises Karana Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'

Darpan News Desk, 03 Nov, 2016 11:59 AM
Hollywood filmmaker Paul Feig's wife Laurie, a Bollywood buff, has lauded Indian filmmaker Karan Johar's latest release "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", calling it a "brilliant film".

On Thursday, Laurie tweeted: "Saw a brilliant film today 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' -- Laughed and cried and fell in love with all the actors. Please run to see it. You will love it."

Karan was happy to re-tweet the post.

"Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" features Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan. It also features a cameo by superstar Shah Rukh Khan, with whom Paul and Laurie are good friends.

The couple wished Shah Rukh on his 51st birthday on Wednesday. Back in May, when Shah Rukh hosted a star-studded dinner party for Apple CEO Tim Cook, Paul's wife had tweeted: "Some day I hope Paul Feig can be welcome at Mannat! Dream, Shah Rukh Khan."

Shah Rukh had then invited the couple over for a meal. The "Spy" and "Ghostbusters" director had then responded: "You're on, Shah Rukh Khan! I'll bring the ketchup. It would be an honour to meet you. Many thanks, my friend."
