Parineeti Chopra Not Doing Southern Film With Mahesh Babu?

Darpan News Desk IANS, 07 Apr, 2016 12:42 PM
Amid reports that Parineeti Chopra has been roped in for a southern film starring Mahesh Babu and directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the actress has said that people should wait for her to announce details about her films instead of spreading rumours.

Asked if she is a part of any such film, Parineeti told IANS: "There have been too many rumours about the films that I am doing for the last one and a half years and they have always turned out to be false."

The 27-year-old actress, who has been named as the brand ambassador of ice-cream brand Vadilal, has requested people to wait for her announcements regarding her films.

"I would say it yet again that please wait for me to confirm any film rumours because I very happily announce my films. So I will announce them when they are there," she said.

The "Daawat-e-Ishq" actor added: "I have decided the next couple of films that I am doing, but because they are not announced (officially yet), I won't be able to talk about it."

Parineeti, who was last seen onscreen in 2014 in the film "Kill Dil", will next be seen in the upcoming film "Meri Pyaari Bindu", where the actress will be essaying the role of an aspiring singer.

The film is set in Kolkata and also features actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who will be playing a Bengali character in the film.

The film is directed by debutant Akshay Roy and is a Maneesh Sharma production.
