Owen Wilson joins Julia Roberts in 'Wonder'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 28 Jun, 2016 02:49 PM
Actor Owen Wilson will star alongside actress Julia Roberts in the upcoming film adaptation of Raquel J. Palacio’s novel “Wonder”.

Child actor Jacob Tremblay, who won many awards for his role in “Room”, is also attached to star in “Wonder” as August Pullman, who was born with facial differences that prevented him from going to a mainstream school earlier in life -- and then became an unlikely hero when he entered the local fifth grade, reports variety.com.

Roberts will be seen as Tremblay’s mother in the film and Wilson will portray the father.

Directed by Stephen Chbosky, the film is slated for release on April 7.
