On World Cancer Day, author and filmmaker Tahira Kashyap, wife of actor Ayushmann Khurrana, shared her photograph on Twitter with an aim to inspire those suffering from the disease.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, she had recently undergone mastectomy.

“Today is my day!Wish you all a happy #worldcancerday with the hope to celebrate it in an embracing way❤️These scars are my badges of honour. Clicked by photographer Atul Kasbekar, the photo shows her baring her back with a scar visible.
