On World Bicycle Day, Sapna Thakur peddles down memory lane

Mumbai, June 3 (IANS) Actress Sapna Thakur says cycling always takes her down the memory lane, to the time when she got her first pair of wheels. The actress opened up on the subject on Thursday, on the occasion of World Bicycle Day.
"When it comes to cycling, all I can recall are priceless memories of my childhood. I remember I was in the sixth grade when my mother gifted me my first cycle on my birthday, it was a red Hero Jet. Six friends and I would ride our cycles to school every morning. This is one of the fondest memories I have of that time," she said.
"Even after so many years, I still have the cycle at my house in Chandigarh and whenever I get a chance, I would love to go cycling around the city. I really miss those days, especially my girl gang who I was extremely close to," added Sapna, who plays Samaira in the Zee TV show "Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti".
As "Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan" continues to make money, lead actor Ayushmann Khurrana's parents recently threw a surprise party for him in Chandigarh.
Actress Madhuri Dixit-Nene wants her teenage sons to follow their passion. She adds that if a person converts his passion into his job, then he doesn't look at it as work and it give him joy.
