  • No Criminal Charge Against Me, Rakesh Roshan: Sanjay Gupta
Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta on Thursday said there is no criminal charge against him or filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, with whom he has collaborated for upcoming film "Kaabil".

According to some media reports, model-turned-actor Sudhanshu Pandey had claimed that his original script "Farmayish" was stolen by the duo and has been renamed as "Kaabil", and he registered criminal charges of fraud and theft against Gupta and Roshan.

"Job of tabloids is to sensationalise without verifying. There is no criminal charge against me nor Rakeshji," Gupta posted on Twitter.

Gupta last directed "Jazbaa", which features actors Irrfan Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film marked the comeback of the "Jodhaa Akbar" actress after five years.

"Kaabil" will star actor Hrithik Roshan. However, the actress is not confirmed yet.
