No change in release date of 'Mohenjo Daro'

  • No change in release date of 'Mohenjo Daro'
Actor Hrithik Roshan-starrer “Mohenjo Daro” will hit the screens on August 12 as planned, reads an official statement shared by director Ashutosh Gowariker's production house.
 
The statement reads: "I would like to clarify that he (Ashutosh Gowariker) has not been spoken to and that there is no change in the release date of 'Mohenjo Daro'. As officially announced more than a year ago, on January 15, 2015, the film will release on August 12, 2016."
 
The statement further says that “there is a specific promotional plan in place for our film and our campaign will begin as scheduled by our team for the same".
 
“Mohenjo Daro”, helmed by Gowariker, is presented by UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Sunita Gowariker.
 
The film is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation.
 
The film will also feature actors Pooja Hegde, Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh.
