  • Nikhil Advani wants Aamir's feedback on 'Katti Batti'
Director Nikhil Advani is keen to show "Katti Batti" to superstar Aamir Khan, who had appreciated the upcoming film's trailer on Twitter. He hopes to get some guidance towards the final stages of the film's release from 'Mr. Perfectionist'.

At the launch of a special promo of the film, Advani told media: "I'm hoping to be able to show him (Aamir) the film so that I can get some kind of guidance about how we have gone about the film and how we want to complete the film. I'm glad that he's been involved in at least that much of 'Katti Batti'."

The film stars Aamir's nephew Imran Khan and actress Kangana Ranaut.

When the movie's trailer was released, Aamir expressed support, and tweeted: "Hey guys, Imran's back! Can't wait to see your film Imran. Good luck! Having produced two big hits of his nephew's career, his praise for Imran doesn't come as a surprise."

Advani will soon have back-to-back releases in September with "Katti Batti" coming out on September 18, and "Hero", starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, also releasing in September.

Other than that, he is also producing action drama "Airlift", starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur.

He is also going to be a jury member at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, to be held August 14-27.

Delighted to be a part of it, he said: "I have been a supporter of this festival right from its inception days. I love this year's theme of 'Equality'. The fact that they have supported and advocated to embrace the diversity than defines us all makes it even more special to me. I look forward to celebrating our cinema in Melbourne next month."
