Netizens Demand A Second Season For 'Sacred Games'

    The fans of Netflix series 'Sacred Games' which has garnered immense popularity, are now demanding the second season be released.

     

    It stars Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte and Kubbra Sait.

     

    Demand in a second season for the series, the Fans of the show took to Twitter to express their opinions.

     

    A fan wrote, "It was the best web series I have ever watched...... Can't wait for more to watch its second season..... #WewantSacredGames2 @SacredGames_Tv @NetflixIndia @VikramMotwane @anuragkashyap72 @RelianceEnt @FuhSePhantom."

    The series is based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 thriller novel by the same name. It revolves around the lives of Mumbai city cop Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) and crime lord Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui).

     

    On a related note, the series landed in a soup after a plea filed in the Delhi High Court seeking deletion of a particular part of the episode containing derogatory remarks against former PM Rajiv Gandhi.

     

    The Netflix original is jointly produced by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom films.
