Neeta Lulla To Design Bharti Singh - Harsh Limbachiyaa Wedding Trousseau

Darpan News Desk IANS, 03 Nov, 2017 07:34 PM
  • Neeta Lulla To Design Bharti Singh - Harsh Limbachiyaa Wedding Trousseau
Designer Neeta Lulla has been roped in to curate and design the wedding trousseau of television's comedy queen Bharti Singh and her long-time beau Harsh Limbachiyaa.

The couple has already met up with the 'Manikarnika' costume designer a few times at the latter's store to discuss the look and feel of the trousseau ever since Bharti has taken a two month sabbatical from work to prepare for the big fat Punjabi wedding that will take place in Goa on December 3.

Neeta is no stranger to the world of designer weddings, having been roped in for some of the most discerning weddings such as the wedlock of Aishwarya Rai- Abhishek Bachchan, Esha Deol-Bharat Takhiani, Isha Kopikkar - Timmy Narang, Brahmani Janardhan Reddy- Rajiv Reddy, Adel Sajan- Sana Khan, Sameera Reddy-Akshai Varde, Ahana Deol-Vaibhav Vora, Ritiesh Desumukh-Genelia Fernandez, Nishka Lulla-Dhruv Mehra.

Talking about the concept, Lulla stated, "The theme I have handpicked is fusion and she will resemble the contemporary bride since it's a destination wedding. Associating orange with joy, this colour is exactly what we needed for the 'Chudi ceremony'."

"For her reception ceremony, we have designed a gown which is a royal blue affair with diamond embroidery, personifying beauty. The gown has a fit and flare silhouette detailed with an off shoulder neckline and tasselled sleeves to add up to the quirk that suffices Bharti's image," she added.

On roping in Neeta Lulla for her D-Day, Bharti said, "I'm still in shock that Neeta Lulla is designing my outfit for my reception and wedding but I'm completely tension free now. I have always seen her work on social media and fashion weeks and heard about her work from film stars and seen it in some of most iconic films. I'm excited about my costume just like I am about my wedding."
