Bollywood star Aamir Khan found Sonam Kapoor starrer "Neerja" inspirational and moving.
 
The actor, who watched the movie here on Monday, tweeted: "Loved 'Neerja'. Very inspirational and moving!Sonam is outstanding! Shabanaji has given a performance of a lifetime! Well done Ram! Must watch!"
 
The film, directed by Ram Madhvani, tells the real life story of Neerja Bhanot, an air hostess who lost her life while saving others on a hijacked plane.
 
Sonam features in the lead role, while Shabana Azmi essays her mother's role.
 
 
B-TOWN GOES GA-GA OVER SONAM KAPOOR'S 'NEERJA'
 
Celebrities like Karan Johar, Subhash Ghai and Ayushmann Khurrana have applauded Sonam Kapoor-starrer “Neerja”, saying that the actress has not only given “inspiring” performance but has also brought Neerja Bhanot back to life.
 
The film, directed by Ram Madhvani, tells the real life story of Neerja Bhanot, an air hostess who lost her life while saving others on a hijacked plane.
 
Sonam features in the lead role, while Shabana Azmi essays her mother's role.
 
 
The film had a special screening for Bollywood celebrities on Monday night and they later took to Twitter to appreciate the film.
 
While actor Aamir Khan shared that he found the film very “inspirational”, filmmaker Karan Johar found Sonam's performance in the film as her “best yet”.
