Actress Nargis Fakhri, who is a part of a documentary episode on empowering artisans, says she is thrilled to be a part of raising awareness for craft in the country.
 
 
Nargis on Thursday shared a clip of a documentary featuring weavers and artisans in the country directed by Susan Cohn Rockefeller.
 
 
"This documentary is powerful, transformative and uplifting for women around the world. I'm thrilled that I was a part of raising awareness for talented artisans in India alongside Unleashed World. You can check out the first episode coming soon to Refinery29," she captioned the video.
 
 
"Connecting Thread" is a series of short films.
 
 
Unleashed is an organisation founded by Kara Ross, whose mission is to support talented craft women around the world who are using their art to better the lives of themselves and their children/families while opening access to capital and markets through various partnerships.
