A person who has done cinema, television, and who also owns an acting institute. A person who is passionate about his work, a person who wants things to improve, a person who wants things to grow. if that is a person who becomes the chairman of FTII, it will definitely grow. He will be brilliant in this job."

The 'Indu Sarkar' star, a recipient of the Padma Shri in 2004 and the Padma Bhushan in 2016 for his contribution in the field of cinema and arts, is 'excited and looking forward to this appointment.'
