  • 'Mirziya' shoot takes Rakeysh Mehra to Mandawa
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is mesmerised by ancient lore and the old world charm of Mandawa as the filmmaker has started shooting for “Mirziya” in the rural locales of this small village of Rajasthan. 
 
“#MIRZYA on location in Mandavaa Rajasthan for the next shooting schedule of MIRZYA,” he tweeted. 
 
He also shared a photograph of himself riding a horse. 
 
The film, which stars newcomers Harshvardhan Kapoor, son of veteran actor Anil Kapoor, and Saiyami Kher, niece of Tanvi Azmi, is inspired by folklore. 
 
It will be a tragic love story, but will present a modern take on folklore.
