Bollywood's 'Mastani' Deepika Padukone was star-struck after meeting Rafael Nadal here, and thanked the Spanish tennis legend for giving her “memories” to cherish for a lifetime.
 
The actress is in the national capital to promote her forthcoming film “Bajirao Mastani”, but she made the most of her visit by going ahead and meeting Nadal, who was here for his International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) match.
 
The daughter of badminton legend Prakash Padukone took to social media to share the moment with her fans and followers. 
 
The “Piku” star thanked Nadal on Twitter, and on Facebook, she shared a moment from their meeting. 
 
“Thank you Rafa for some wonderful memories... @RafaelNadal,” Deepika tweeted along with a photograph which showed the two striking a happy pose.
 
Deepika looks every bit a professional as well as elegant in striped pants and a classy black blazer, while Nadal looks casual in a pair of denims and a black jacket. 
 
Nadal, who played against Roger Federer here on Saturday, was also smitten by the “incredible” Bollywood star. 
 
He tweeted: “Con la increíble @DeepikaPadukone en #Delhi :) With the incredible Deepika Padukone in #Delhi! #Bollywood”. 
 
Meanwhile, the actress is geared up for her next release “Bajirao Mastani”, which also stars Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra, on December 18.
