Maryam Zakaria Excited About Comeback With New Film

Darpan News Desk IANS, 09 Jun, 2016 01:01 PM
  • Maryam Zakaria Excited About Comeback With New Film
Actress Maryam Zakaria on Thursday said she was excited to make her comeback with an item number in the film 'Missing On A Weekend', and is eagerly awaiting the release of the film.

"I am back and it is my comeback song... I'm very excited to start again because I have been missing to perform and stay in front of the camera," Maryam said on the sidelines of the shoot of the song.

After her popular item number with actress Kareena Kapoor in 'Agent Vinod', a prominent role in 'Grand Masti' and films down south, Maryam took a long break after giving birth to her son, who is 16 months old now.

While the song is a happy-go-lucky song, 'Missing On A Weekend' is far from it, and is an intense and gripping investigative thriller set in Goa.

About the film, she said, "I saw the trailer; it is looking really nice and I am excited. I want to see the movie...."

'Missing On A Weekend', directed by Abhishek Jawkar, also stars Pavan Malhotra and is presented by The Red Bulb Studios and Adept Films and will hit the screens on June 24.
