Joyous over the victory of her own film “Mary Kom” at the 62nd National Film Awards, actress Priyanka Chopra has reached out to other winners like Vikas Bahl of “Queen” and Vishal Bhardwaj of “Haider” to congratulate them.
 
“Yay! Kabhi Kisi ko itna Bhi mat Darao ki darr hi khatm ho jaaye! Congratulations to @OmungKumar @SaiwynQ Viacom, Sanjay Sir and the whole crew,” Priyanka posted in a tweet on Tuesday, after “Mary Kom” was named the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
 
In the titular role of the biopic of real-life boxing champion M.C. Mary Kom, Priyanka, a National Award winner herself, essayed a fearless woman, who becomes a national icon through her determined pursuit of sporting excellence.
 
In a show of true sportsmanship spirit, she congratulated director Vikas Bahl for winning Best Hindi film for “Queen”, which even won the Best Actress gong for Kangana Ranaut.
 
“Queen ka real king!! #VikasBehl @fuhsephantom congratulations and so proud! What a journey and so well deserved,” posted Priyanka, who is currently in the US to film TV series "Quantico".
 
Also sending out best wishes to Bhardwaj, whose “Haider” won five awards, she wrote: “Congratulations @bharadwajvishal for all your wins for Haider. So well deserved sir!”
 
The film won Best Male Playback Singer for Sukhwinder Singh for the song "Bismil"; Best Dialogues and Music Direction for the film’s director Vishal Bhardwaj; Best Choreography for Norway-based Sudesh Adhana; and Best Costume Designer for the effervescent Dolly Ahluwalia.
