Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says marriages are wonderful events in the family and brings happiness to all the members and relatives.
 
"Marriages are such a wonderful event in the family. The rituals the festive occasion the relatives not seen in ages the happiness and smiles of all the songs of old and of tradition the feats and laughter the teasings and game plays with the bride and the groom...endless," Big B wrote on his blog. 
 
The cine icon, 75, says each moment is filled with joys and laughter of all.
 
Amitabh, who is the father of actor Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan-Nanda, added: "The father of the bride gives away his daughter to her new home. The joy of giving, the blessing of those that receive her and the additions to the family... welcomed with tradition folk songs and gaiety."
 
On the work front, Big B has two films in his kitty -- "102 Not Out" and "Thugs Of Hindostan".
