Actress Mallika Sherawat on Monday shared a photograph of herself flaunting her toned abs.

 

"Checking out those abs," Mallika captioned the photograph, where she is standing in front of what seems to be like a mirror and checking her toned body.

 

The actress, who is best known for films like Murder, Pyaar Ke Side Effects and Welcome, was last seen on the big screen in the Chinese fantasy-action-adventure film Time Raiders.

 

She recently made her digital debut with Zee5's web series The Story, which chronicles real life incidents of actors. The episode revolved around Mallika's scary real-life experience with an obsessed stalker from Haryana who tried to kill her before the police nabbed him.

In an interview, she recalled, "He used to tell me, why do you wear short skirts, you're giving Indian culture a bad name, why can't you wear sari. I thought why are you telling me what to wear and is this an invitation for you to misbehave with me?"

 

"I thought, 'let's do this episode', even though it was traumatic to relive that again. In the episode we talked about self-defence. I had to put my story out there," Mallika added.
