  • 'Make In India' Most Important Initiative By Modi: SRK
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Make In India' campaign was perhaps the most important initiative, according to actor Shah Rukh Khan who is impressed with the introduction of technology with it.

"'Make In India' is perhaps the most important initiative by our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which propels companies in India and abroad to make things in our own country and our own land, thus creating job opportunities, skills enchantment," said Shah Rukh at the launch of a book "Movers & Makers".

"For me, the biggest turn on is the introduction of new technology, which I believe is going to create a new era for our generation and generations to come."

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and BJP member Shaina N.C. were also present.

Shah Rukh had said in November last year that the Indian film industry also stands for 'Make In India' "since with our films, we were taking our culture, music across borders and spreading the word for what India stands for".

The 'Make In India' campaign intends to push Indian as well as international companies to manufacture their products in India.
