Mahaakshay Gets 'Brutally Honest' Reviews From Dad Mithun

Darpan News Desk IANS, 24 Apr, 2015 12:35 PM
  • Mahaakshay Gets 'Brutally Honest' Reviews From Dad Mithun
Actor Mahaakshay Chakraborty, son of veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, says his father is brutally honest when it comes to reviewing his films.

Mahaakshay told IANS: "My father is extremely blunt and brutally honest when it comes to reviewing my films. That's the only reason I have come this far in my career. I thank his honesty and his strict approach that has helped me to improve."

The actor, who made his debut with the 2008 film "Jimmy", has failed to make a mark in showbiz. But he feels he "never went wrong anywhere as an actor".

"I have done all kinds of films with different genres. Everybody has to struggle to prove themselves, and my struggle is also on," said Mahaakshay, who even featured in movies like "Haunted - 3D", "Loot" and "Enemmy".

He is currently busy promoting his film "Ishqedarriyaan".

Directed by V.K. Prakash, the film features Mahaakshay and Evelyn Sharma in the lead role. The film is slated to release on May 15.
