A Delhi court on Monday recorded the statement of a magistrate and two police officers in a case filed against Bollywood film "Peepli Live" co-director Mahmood Farooqui, a rape accused.
Additional Sessions Judge Sanjiv Jain recorded statement of a metropolitan magistrate who recorded the statement of the victim in the case.
The magistrate testified as a prosecution witnesses along with two police officers, who had maintained the record of case property in the matter.
Recording of statement of prosecution witnesses in the case would continue on Tuesday.
The court concluded the recording of the victim's statement on Saturday.
Delhi Police have charge-sheeted Farooqui under sections dealing with rape and destruction of evidence for allegedly raping a 35-year-old American national. The victim, pursuing Ph.D. from Columbia University, was in India for research work.
Farooqui is in judicial custody since June 20.
