Lisa Haydon upped the glamour quotient at Monica & Karishma's show

  • Lisa Haydon upped the glamour quotient at Monica & Karishma's show
Designer duo Monica & Karishma showcased their collection themed New age women and keeping in tune with their theme, they roped in model-turned-actress Lisa Haydon as their show stopper and she impressed with her glamour quotient.

Donning a long sleeveless dress with golden work and peach coloured cut work across the dress, Lisa looked as glamorous as ever while taking a walk.

"It feels amazing to walk the ramp and I am honoured to be their showstopper," said the actress who plays a prominent role in Kangana Ranaut starrer "Queen".

The designer-duo showcased their debut collection at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week summer-resort 2014 at Grand Hyatt here.

Talking about the collection Monica said: "All our garments are free-flowing and represent today's women. Our collection has a vibe of 1960s with the glamour of the roaring 1920s. There is a subtle nonchalance in combining the best of the two decades in fashion."

Long skirts and dresses with glitter and embellishment inspired by the 1920s defined the silhouettes and the duo played well with pastel shades such as blush and dreamy grey accented by a dash of vivid pink.

The five-day fashion extravaganza started Wednesday.
