Lata Remembers Madan Mohan On 40th Death Anniversary

    Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar on Tuesday paid tribute to legendary music director Madan Mohan on his 40th death anniversary.
     
    The 85-year-old singer took to micro-blogging website Twitter to remember the music director, who was known for composing ghazals, mainly using the voices of Lata Mangeshkar, Talat Mahmood and Mohammed Rafi.
     
    "Aaj prasiddha sangeetkar Madan Mohan ji ki 40vi punyatithi hai.Main unhe shraddhanjali arpan karti hun,aur koti koti pranam karti hun. (Today is famous musician Madan Mohan's 40th death anniversary. I pay my respects and tribute to him.)," she tweeted.
     
    Lata and Mohan worked together on songs like "Lag ja gale" from the 1964 film "Woh Kaun Thi" and "Chhayye barkha bahar" from the 1969 film "Chirag".
