Lata Mangeshkar misses Geeta Dutt a lot

    Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar on Wednesday was melancholic over her memories of singer Geeta Dutt, who died on this day 44 years ago.
     
    Mangeshkar and Dutt have together sung duets like "Hum panchhi mastaaane", "Ankhiyaan bhuul gayi hain sonaa" and "Kya bataaoon mohabbat hai kya". 
     
    "Aaj meri saheli gayika Geeta Dutt ki punyatithi hai. 1947 se hamari dosti thi. Aaj mujhe uski bahut yaad aa rahi hai. (Today is my friend and singer Geeta Dutt's death anniversary. We were friends since 1947. Today I am missing her alot," Mangeshkar tweeted.
     
    The 86-year-old singer also shared a link of a song "Waqt ne kiya kya haseen sitam" sung by Dutt for the 1959 film "Kaagaz Ke Phool".
