Kunal Kapoor to stage play in US, Pakistan

Darpan News Desk IANS, 24 Dec, 2015 02:05 PM
  • Kunal Kapoor to stage play in US, Pakistan
"Rang De Basanti" fame actor Kunal Kapoor's play “Ek Punjab Yeh Bhi” will soon jet off to a tour of the US, Canada and Pakistan. The actor is happy with the appreciation, and looks forward to enthralling international audiences.

Kunal recently wowed the Indian audiences with his performance in the play, which is inspired by Ali Akbar Natiq’s Urdu short stories at the Prithvi Theatre Festival here earlier this month.

The production is expected to leave for the foreign tour in April or May next year.

“We put a lot of passion and hard work into this, and I'm really happy with how people have reacted to it. We have had number of offers to tour other cities and countries and I am really looking forward to that," Kunal said in a statement.

Meanwhile, back on the home turf, Kunal will also start shooting for his first action movie down south soon.
