Kunal, Jimmy give voice-over for animation film

Darpan News Desk IANS, 18 Oct, 2016 11:50 AM
  • Kunal, Jimmy give voice-over for animation film
Actors Kunal Kapoor and Jimmy Sheirgill have lent their voice for the characters of Ram and Lakshman in the "Mahayoddha Rama" animation film.

"It's the way the director Rohit Vaid presented Ram that was very interesting for me. He is strong, he's fair, he's a lover, he's sensitive, he's even tough. I think it's this contemporising of Ram that was very exciting. And I love animation films so, it's been a fun experience to be a part of it," said Kunal.

For Jimmy, from growing up listening to stories of Lakshman to voicing his character, "the experience has been extremely wonderful. I am glad to be able to bring the contemporary Lakshman to life".

An epic age old story told in a new age manner, the film has Javed Akhtar writing the lyrics. The music has been composed by late Aadesh Shrivastava.

The film, produced by Contiloe Pictures, is slated to release on November 4.
