Kirti Kulhari To Start Shooting For Bhandarkar's Film Soon

    Actress Kirti Kulhari, who was recently lauded for her performance in the critically acclaimed film "Pink", will soon start shooting for Madhur Bhandarkars movie "Indu Sarkar".
     
    "Finally something good is happening. I am doing Madhur Bhandarkar's ‘Indu Sarkar'. We are going to start shooting from December 10," she said at the launch of the book "Wet" by Tanveer Bookwala.
     
    "Set in Delhi, it is a story with the backdrop of 1975's Emergency period. The film will be completed by end of January. And then, I will be announcing two more projects," she added.
     
    She will play the title role in the upcoming film. 
     
    "Brought up in an orphanage, she belongs to a small place in Uttar Pradesh. She has a speech impediment and there is a poetic side to her. She gets to settle in her life. The story is about the journey of a woman who has a deficiency in expressing herself and how she eventually copes with the situation and expresses herself." 
     
    Asked about her journey after the success of "Pink", Kirti said it is going as expected. 
     
    "'Pink' is the turning point in my career. It just changed everything for me overnight," she said.
