  • Kate Winslet Confesses She 'Never Fancied' Leonardo Dicaprio
Over 20 years back, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio started their journey of love as Jack and Rose in 'Titanic'.

Their characters might have been deeply in love but in real life, Kate and Leo are just really friends.

During an interview, the 41-year-old actress has revealed that despite their astonishing on-screen chemistry, the couple's romance had never tipped over into real life, reports Contactmusic.ocm

She said, "For Leo and I, I think it was seven months of very intense work. We were both really very young, and luckily, and this is the fortunate thing, we never fancied each other. I know that's really annoying to hear, I'm sorry, but we really never did."

Instead twice-divorced Kate said that she and Leonardo had developed a deep friendship which had lasted to this day.

"We were able to tease each other, and we still do, so it's really amazing," noted Winslet.

'The Mountain Between Us' actress has spoken fondly about 'The Wolf of Wall Street' star in past interviews too.

"We're very-very close and sometimes we do quote the odd Titanic line back and forth to each other. Because only we can, and we find it really funny," she noted in a recent interview.
