  • Kareena wears 32 kg lehenga for 'Ki and Ka' song

MumbaiActress Kareena Kapoor Khan has shot for a song for R. Balki's "Ki and Ka" wearing a Manish Malhotra-designed lehenga which weighs over 30 kg.

A source knowledgeable about the development said: "Though Kareena sports a completely western look throughout the film, she didn't want to disappoint her fans and hence went completely Indian for the song in 'Ki And Ka'. Her lehenga weighs over 32 kg and is designed by close friend Manish Malhotra."

The lehenga, which is said to be adorned with heavy zardosi work on several layers of net, was donned by the "Jab We Met" actress for a song choreographed by Bosco. She shot for the number over two days at a suburban studio here.

"Kareena shot in this heavy lehenga in the scorching heat for over two days and wowed everyone with her ability to maintain her cool despite the challenging outfit and temperature," the source added.

"Ki and Ka" also features Arjun Kapoor.
