Karan refutes 'Shuddhi' casting rumours

Darpan News Desk IANS, 10 Apr, 2014 01:20 PM
  • Karan refutes 'Shuddhi' casting rumours
Filmmaker Karan Johar is furious over reports related to the cast of his production venture “Shuddhi”.

Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor were finalised as the lead pair of the film, but later Hrithik announced that he is not a part of it anymore.

Karan says a news report that the “Krrish 3” star is asking for a profit of the film is false.

“Article insinuating that Hrithik asked for a large percentage of profit for ‘Shuddhi’ is baseless, untrue and completely uninformed,” the “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” director tweeted Wednesday.

He was also angry over reports saying that he himself is playing the lead in the film.

“I am playing the lead in ‘Shuddhi’! Sounds ridiculous? Well as ridiculous as some of the news reports making the rounds!,” Karan posted on Twitter Thursday.
