Karan Johar Admires Kangana Ranaut, Now Calls Her 'One Of The Best Actresses' In B-Town

Darpan News Desk IANS, 08 Apr, 2019 10:10 PM

Instead of taking a shot at actress Kangana Ranaut, filmmaker Karan Johar praises her for her acting skills.

A recent interview saw the filmmaker praise Kangana, calling her one of the best actresses of the industry and even saying he would be comfortable directing Kangana.

The filmmaker, who had made an appearance in a chat show, CEO of Dharma Productions and his very close friend Apoorva Mehta asked him if he would be comfortable directing Kangana anytime soon.

Much to the surprise of everyone, Karan promptly replied: “Yes, for sure. Kangana is one of the best actresses we have.”

In another interview, Karan even said he has no problem with Kangana and he was willing to work with her, should she suit one of his roles.

Things have been difficult between the two ever since Kangana called out on nepotism on his celebrity chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’.

Kangana stood on her ground since, often repeating in interviews that the exclusionist practice kept real talent away from the industry. Her statements haven’t gone down well with Karan Johar and several of his industry friends.

On the professional front, Kangana is currently shooting for 'Panga', and will then dive into promotions of 'Mental Hai Kya'.
