  • 'Kapoor & Sons' Makes You Revisit Own Demons: Mahira Khan
Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has heaped praise over Bollywood film “Kapoor & Sons”, which also features Fawad Khan. She says the film leaves behind an impression, and makes one face demons from within and come to terms with them.

The actress, who is all geared up to make her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan with “Raees”, tweeted: “'Kapoor & Sons' stays with you long after the credits roll...makes you revisit your own demons, losses, heartaches and count your blessings."

Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and directed by Shakun Batra, the film narrates story of a family and highlights how the family copes with their differences to find love and admiration for each other.

The film also stars Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. Fawad essays role of a gay, who tries hard to come out of the closet.

After enchanting the audiences of their country with their powerful yet sensitive performance through TV dramas, Mahira and Fawad took the small screen route to cross the borders.

Mahira and Fawad were introduced to Indian audiences through their Pakistani shows “Humsafar" and “Zindagi Gulzar Hai” respectively by Zindagi channel.

While Fawad has already made a place for himself in Bollywood, Mahira will set her foot on the Indian silver screen with the release of “Raees”, which releases on Eid this year.
