Kapil Sharma Breaks Silence On Alleged Break Up With Ex Preeti Simoes, Failing Health And TV Show

Darpan News Desk IANS, 07 Sep, 2017 11:42 AM
A lot has been said about Kapil Sharma and his show. While the actor-comedian is taking a brief time-out from television to get back to the best of his health, 'The Kapil Sharma Show' will be missed immensely on the small screen.

But there's more to Kapil than his show that interests his fans—and that is rumours about his personal life. In March this year, Kapil confessed his love for longtime mate Ginni Chatrath on Twitter sending his fans for a toss. Why? Well, many believed Kapil to be dating his then creative director Preeti Simoes.

According to BollywoodLife.com, Kapil in an interview with Mumbai Mirror finally spoke about his alleged link-up rumours and how his professional life changed post the ugly shoe-hurling episode with Sunil Grover.

He has been quoted as saying, “I have never asked anybody to leave me, my team or my show. There are no hard feelings from my end (for Preeti). When Sunil left the show, I advised him to stay on, saying we are stronger together. But he wanted his own show and I understood that because even I have fought for my own show.

When he came back, I welcomed him because I have always believed we must work with the best to learn more and work better. If anyone else wants to come back, I will be more than happy to welcome them back. Long before she (Preeti) joined me, I was doing Comedy Circus and Laughter Challenge. I worked really hard. It didn’t stop with her coming into my life or when she walked out.

I would like to wish her all the best with her own show now. Personal equations have never been detrimental to my career, it’s my health that has affected me adversely. If you fall, it’s your fault and nobody else’s.”

Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma is focussing on his health finally and is in Bengaluru for Ayurvedic treatment. Kapil said, "I needed medical help to combat anxiety, blood pressure and sugar problems and correct an unbalanced diet. I thought it was best to take a break before another problem cropped up."
