Kangana Finally Records Her Statement Against hrithik Roshan

IANS, 01 May, 2016 11:46 AM
Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is engaged in a bitter legal battle with actor Hrithik Roshan, finally recorded her statement on Saturday, according to a statement by her lawyer.

The actress was asked to visit the police's Cyber Cell to record her statement but had been ignoring it for a long time. However, she finally recorded it before a police team that came to her residence.

Her lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee said that police were called to visit the residence of hisy client to record her statement at 4 p.m. but only reached by 4.45 p.m.

"My client was scheduled to go for another meeting by 5 p.m., however to accommodate the officer and her team she rescheduled her other meetings and recorded her statements along with her sister between 5 p.m. up to about 8 p.m.

"Police were extremely happy to get more information from my clients and learn new things which were not mentioned by Hrithik in his FIR. Going forward, a lot of things will unfold and even the aim and object why Hrithik was circulating a private report which was paid for by him to the media to clear his name, would become obvious," he claimed.

His statement further reads: "Also despite instructions from my client's (Kangana's) sister why did he not name my client in his earlier informal complaint and publicly lied in the complaint would also become apparent. The reasons for delay in lodging the FIR by Hrithik has become more clear now."

Hrithik had filed an FIR with the cyber crime cell about an imposter interacting with Kangana under his name by creating a fake email id.
