Actress Kalki Koechlin was touched by the birthday wishes that poured in as she turned 32 on Sunday. She sent out her love and appreciation to all her fans and well-wishers through the virtual route.

The actress also hoped that she would remain lucky and garner more love from her fans in the future.

“Thank you so so much for all the birthday wishes. Love to every follower and may I always be this lucky,” Kalki tweeted.

The actress, who forayed into Bollywood in 2009 with “Dev.D”, has explored different mediums of entertainment -- be it the big screen, theatre or web series.

From commercial films to indie projects, Kalki's portfolio flaunts versatility with films like “That Girl in Yellow Boots”, “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”, “Ek Thi Daayan”, “Shanghai” and “Margarita With A Straw”.

A number of members of the film fraternity also wished the actress.

Her “Shaitan” co-star Gulshan Devaiah tweeted: “To my dearest friend, the lovely, the courageous, the gorgeous @kalkikanmani, wish you a happy birthday”, while her “Ek Thi Daayan” co-star Huma Qureshi wrote “Happy wala bday @kalkikanmani Shine on girl. Mwahhh”.

Using a still from “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”, Bollywood's talent house Farhan Akhtar, with whom Kalki worked in the Zoya Akhtar-directorial, wished her.

Kalki has found a place in the film industry as a brave star who is not scared to take risks and experiment with film subjects. She will be seen in "Mantra" soon.
