Darpan News Desk IANS, 28 Jan, 2016 02:00 PM
Amitabh Bachchan-starrer "Kabhi Kabhie" on Wednesday clocked 40 years since its release and the megastar is missing "the ethereal beauty of Kashmir and the company of extraordinary colleagues".

The romantic film also features actors Raakhee, Sashi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Neetu Singh, Rishi Kapoor and Simi Garewal.

"40 years of 'Kabhi Kabhie'...! And the strains of the music, the poetry of the lyrics, the ethereal beauty of Kashmir and the company of extraordinary colleagues," Big B wrote on his blog.

The 73-year-old thespian even took to his official Twitter page to express his happiness.

"40 years of 'Kabhi Kabhie'! And they still want to hear me recite the poem!! Strength of cinema!" he tweeted.

Amitabh also shared some anecdotes from the film and said that the events were "Collected, managed, sewn together, in a most alluring cinema experience by the master of all that he did and make, Yash Chopra".

The megastar, whose last big screen outing was Bejoy Nambiar's "Wazir", is currently shooting in Kolkata for his upcoming film "TE3N".

Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, "TE3N" also stars Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
