Jaya, Shweta Applaud Big B's 'wazir'

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who will be seen as a paralysed chess grandmaster in the forthcoming action thriller “Wazir”, has received a thumbs up from his wife Jaya and his daughter Shweta for the film.
 
While filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who is co-producing the Bejoy Nambiar directorial, along with Rajkumar Hirani hosted a screening of the film for the entire cast, another special screening was held for Bachchans on Thursday.
 
Amitabh attended the screening along with Jaya and Shweta. Later on, he sent a text message to Chopra saying his family has applauded the film, read a statement.
 
“Sir ji, family was clapping after the film ended. Such things don't happen much from their side,” read the message.
 
“Wazir”, which is slated to release on January 8, also stars Farhan Akhtar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham.
