Let's take a look at who posted what:

We list out 10 songs that you must listen to on this day.

    1. Bluff Master - Govinda Aala Re Aala

A Superhit Hindi song from Bollywood film, Bluff Master, 1963. The Shammi Kapoor, Saira Banu, Pran, Lalita Pawar starrer gained popularity with this song. The music created by Kalyanji Anandji, is still the first song that comes to ones mind when thinking of Janmashtami.

    2. Muqabla - Teen batti wala govinda aala

This song from Muqabla that released in 1969 creates an ambience of the matka-phor celebration. Kishore Kumar and Mohammed Rafi like always did not fail to create magic with this song too.

    3. Khuddar - Mach Gaya Shor Sari Nagri Re

Coupled with amazing visuals, this Amitabh Bachchan starrer reminds us of Krishna's tricks on Radha, his unusual ways of pulling her legs and his wittiness that makes us smile every time we listen to it.

    4. Satyam Shivam Sundaram - Yashomati Maiyya Se Bole Nandlala

This song from the 1978 film Satyam Shivam Sundaram went on being replayed even years after the movie's release. The Shashi Kapoor-Zeenat Aman starrer became an all time favourite with this song. The song is Krishna's complain to his mother about he being dark, while Radha being fair. It portrays the innocence of Krishna.

    5. Badla - Shor mach gaya shor dekho aaya maakhan chor

This popular Hindi song has the background score playing as 'Govinda ayo re'. The Shatrughan Sinha starrer went on to add colour to the loved and much celebrated janmashtami.

    6. Kala Bazar- Ala re Govinda

The Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Farha & Kimi Katkar starrer recreated the old magic of Govinda ala re once again. The music of the Gokulashtami song from Kala Baazar was created by Rajesh Roshan.

    7. Lamhe - Mohe Chedo Na

This masterpiece of Lataji recreates the Krishna-Radha bond. The Sridevi-Anil Kapoor starrer brings out the love-hate relationship between Krishna and Radha, where Radha pleas Krishna not to tease her.

8: Amar Prem - Bada Natkhat Hai

The song beautifully captures the motherly love of Yashoda. Troubled by Krishna’s mischievous antics Yashoda would punish and scold him. But nothing as compared to the love she showered on him.

    9. Vaastav - Har taraf hai ye shor aaya gokul ka chor

The blockbuster movie starring Sanjay Dutt shows him naughty like that of Krishna. The song is sung by Vinod Rathod and Atul Kale and music is composed by Jatin-Lalit. The song showcases traditional Dahi-Handi celebration.

    10. Lagaan - Radha Kaise Na Jale

‘Radha Kaise Na Jale’ from the epic-sports drama ‘Lagaan’ depicts the naughty shades of Krishna and how it makes Radha anxious. The song showcases how Radha is jealous when Krishna spends time with other gopis.
