Actress Deepika Padukone, who has left for Canada to shoot for Hollywood film "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage”, says she is looking forward to shooting with action hero Vin Diesel.
 
Bollywood's 'Mastani' Deepika says he is a “very generous” person and hopes to have fun during the shooting schedule.
 
“In the few two or three interactions that I have had with him (Vin Diesel), he is just a very warm person. He is very generous among most of my co-stars that I have worked with. I think it will be a fun experience working with him,” Deepika said of her maiden foreign project at an event here.
 
She was in the national capital on Tuesday to attend NDTV Indian of the Year 2015 awards ceremony, in which she was named Actor Of The Year. 
 
Deepika left for Canada on Tuesday night after the event.
 
 
Her "Bajirao Mastani" co-star and rumoured beau Ranveer Singh shared the news about the actress flying off to shoot for her maiden Hollywood project. 
 
In the third instalment of the film, Diesel is back as Cage who returns to the National Security Agency after an eight-year absence in the movie, which also stars Nina Dobrev, Samuel L. Jackson, Ruby Rose, Jet Li and Tony Jaa.
 
"xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" is expected to release in 2017.
 
'WOULD LOVE' TO PLAY SAINA NEHWAL ONSCREEN
 
She is a daughter of celebrated badminton player Prakash Padukone, and has herself shown how to handle the racquet in the court with perfection. Now, actress Deepika Padukone says she would love to essay role of badminton ace player Saina Nehwal on the silver screen.
 
"I would love to play Saina onscreen. We have played together in fact and obviously she was way better .. She also said to me 'good' also. We had fun time... Of course anything for the love of sports specially if it is badminton," Deepika said at an event here.
 
 
The actress spoke about her inclination towards bringing the life of the sportsperson alive on the sliver screen at an event here. She was in the national capital on Tuesday to attend NDTV Indian Of The Year 2015 ceremony.
 
Saina, who got the Sportsperson Of The Year award at the ceremony, shared her wish to see Deepika bringing herA life on the camera in the forthcoming biopic through a live video chat.
 
When asked about her preference, she said: "Of course Deepika Padukone. She used to play badminton. Her father was a badminton player. I think she would do good justice to the role. I wish she could do the role."
 
Filmmaker Amol Gupte is making a film on the Indian badminton champion.
 
Meanwhile, Saina shared the award with tennis champion Sania Mirza.
