Is Neha Dhupia's Pregnancy Why She Suddenly Married Angad Bedi? Here's The Truth

Darpan News Desk IANS, 23 May, 2018 01:23 PM
  • Is Neha Dhupia's Pregnancy Why She Suddenly Married Angad Bedi? Here's The Truth

Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi got married at a small ceremony in Delhi on May 10. The sudden, secretive wedding was attended by only close friends and family members.

Later, a rumour floated on social media that the wedding was hurriedly organised because Neha was pregnant. While Neha and Angad decided to not address the rumour, Neha’s father Pradeep couldn’t stop himself from reacting to it.

In an interview to Dainik Bhaskar, he had said, “There is no such thing at all. Since the two got married early, people are thinking otherwise. But there is no such thing. People will keep talking about things and spread rumours as per their wish.”

Neha and Angad recently talked to Bombay Times about their hush-hush wedding. Angad said the decision of marriage was taken ‘overnight’. He said, “I went in my track pants and T-shirt along with one bag in my hand. We intended to stay overnight and come back. On the way, we discussed how we were going to approach the topic of marriage with her parents.”

The newly-wed couple got married in an Anand Karaj ceremony at a Gurudwara in south Delhi. They made the announcement via social media.

They issued a joint statement after the marriage: Marrying your best friend is one of the greatest feelings in the world, and we are extremely fortunate to have found love in each other.

It has been a beautiful journey knowing each other and after formalising the wedding earlier this year, today, we exchanged our vows in a beautifully simple, private and intimate Anand Karaj ceremony in Delhi. We look forward to celebrating and sharing this special moment with our friends and colleagues in Mumbai in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for showering us with so much love. Your blessings have truly made this day so much more special.
